Katt offers a wide variety of instruction at StoneField Stables in Coopersburg, Pa. -- located in the heart of the Lehigh Valley, amongst Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and Quakertown. Katt is also willing to come to your barn when appropriate.
In addition to training horses from introduction to a saddle to the show ring, she offers her expertise in teaching and training in:

- Hunt Seat Equitation

- Hunters Over Fences
Katt would be pleased to come to your Pony Club to provide specialty clinics or group lessons anywhere in the Lehigh Valley, or the Philadelphia, Doylestown, Scranton, Trenton, Newark area. These could also be provided at another group venue of your choice, including your barn. And, of course, you are always welcome to bring your horse to Stonfield for training or a lesson.
Certified as both a mounted and non-mounted Daniel Stewart Ride Right© instructor, Katt will present one or more Ride Right clinics at your barn. Described by Coach Stewart as: “Teaching riders to improve their horse by teaching them how to improve themselves,” the clinics offer a unique approach to building your relationship with your horse and realizing both of your full potential.
The clinics available include:
Sport Psychology Seminar
This very humorous approach to rider-psychology teaches stress-management, positive-thinking, visualization, and goal-setting techniques. Learn to improve your enjoyment, confidence and performance by eliminating stress, performance anxiety and fear from your riding / showing experiences.
Symmetry and Balance Workshop
This un-mounted workshop teaches rider-specific exercises using a special balance board developed especially for equestrians. The fun and effective exercises improve your riding by helping you identify and solve imperfections with your balance, symmetry, posture, body-awareness and suppleness.
Equitation and Symmetry Analysis
This video clinic helps riders identify ways to improve their position on the flat. Does your leg swing at the canter, do you have difficulty sitting the trot, do you put more weight in one stirrup or seat bone, sit crooked or have one leg that works better? If so, this clinic helps you identify the causes, and more importantly the solutions!
Jumping Position Analysis
This video clinic allows you to watch yourself jumping and identify ways to improve your position. It’s a great way to learn new techniques to perfect your approach, take-off, jumping position, landing and exit. You’ll also have to opportunity to see and analyze your position at the posting trot, two-point and canter. Video Clinics (select one) consist of:
- 30-minute riding session to videotape your position.
- 45-minute lecture on the causes and solution of common riding problems.
- 45-minute analysis of your video to identify ways to improve your position.
- 60-minute follow-up lesson to improve any imperfections found in your video.
Jumping Specialty Clinics
All clinics are suitable for jumpers of all ages and ability (separated into similar levels). Completion of the STABLE clinic is required before signing up for other jumping clinics.
The STABLE Jumping Clinic
Learn the latest techniques to perfect Seeing distances, Take-offs, Approaches, Break jumping position, Landings and Exits.
The DICE Jumping Clinic
This fun and often times tricky clinic tests your ability to handle challenging distances, corners, approaches and lines.
The TEST Jumping Clinic
This demanding clinic tests your ability to memorize complex jump courses, patterns and combinations.
The BOX Jumping Clinic
This fast paced clinic tests your ability to make quick and confident decisions while facing a series of complicated approaches.
The ZIPPER Jumping Clinic
This intense clinic tests your ability to remain calm while riding confusing patterns and dealing with last minute changes of plan.
Dressage Specialty Clinics
All clinics are suitable for dressage riders of all ages and ability (separated into similar levels).
The On the Bit Dressage Clinic
Learn a unique set of movements that help your horse first accept the bit before moving onto it. This surprising technique helps your horse move more easily and confidently into a supple, athletic and balanced frame.
